"I’m scared of making the wrong decision."

That's exactly how I felt at 17. I had to choose what and where to study—a decision that would naturally scare and make any teenager feel full of doubts. After all, who wouldn’t feel overwhelmed by a choice that could shape the rest of their life?

“No university will accept me.” I kept telling myself this over and over. The process seemed endless—filling out applications, writing essays, and facing interviews with college admissions officers. It felt like I’d never reach the finish line.

But in the end, my hard work paid off

I still remember the thrill of opening my acceptance letters from the London School of Economics, King’s College, McGill University, Georgetown, and Columbia University. Ultimately, I chose to stay in New York, which, at the time, offered me the best future opportunities.

“Traveling enriched my learning experience.” After graduating from Columbia University with a double major in Economics and a Master’s in International Relations, I went on to work with an NGO and AIG. However, I quickly realized that this was not what I wanted. After falling in love with an Italian, I followed a long-held dream and moved to Milan.

“I feel lost and anxious about my future.”

Years later, working at Politecnico di Milano, I noticed that each candidate I reviewed seemed as lost and anxious as I had once been. This sparked a passion for what would later become my life's work.

“Work hard and enjoy the journey.” For the past 13 years, I’ve worked with universities and colleges worldwide, guiding candidates from diverse backgrounds. I’m grateful to have gained media recognition, with interviews on television, radio, and in the press.
