  • USA.

On April 27, 2021, the Secretary of State in the United States granted the restrictions that were taken regarding travel for international students’ freedom as of August 1, 2021.

Regarding the Foreigner Identification Number (NIE), if international students have a valid F1 and M-1 visa , they will be taken into account and thus not have any conflict with this document. If the student intends to start or continue an academic program on or after August 1, 2021, it will be much more feasible. Now, students with these visas will not need to contact embassies or the consulate to find a NIE to travel.

It must be taken into account that the different states in the United States currently present different requirements that students need to know in order not to have any difficulties, for this, it is very important to investigate and stay informed.

  • UNITED KINGDOM.  


According to current regulations, students can travel to the United Kingdom since last July 5, 202 1, a plan was announced to eliminate most of the restrictions implemented with respect to Covid-19, which represents the end of the measures of social distancing and limits to the number of people who can be in the same place.

To travel to the UK, all students must complete a passenger locator form and submit it within 48 hours of arrival in the country. Forms can be completed online via this UK government website.

As of January 2021, students must have proof of a negative Covid-19 test to enter the UK , wherever they travel. This test must be done no more than three days before departure. It must be done even if students have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

  • CANADA.


There has been a major travel update regarding fully vaccinated international travelers looking to travel to Canada. Since July 5, 2021, travelers are allowed to enter Canada, and they will not be subject to federal quarantine requirements or take a Covid-19 test.

Additionally, fully vaccinated travelers arriving by air will not be required to stay in government-approved accommodations for the first three nights of their stay.
